Rubanda Leaders Hail Government Investment in Health Infrastructure

Rubanda District leaders have commended the Government of Uganda for its continued investment in health infrastructure, saying the ongoing and completed projects will significantly improve access to quality healthcare services across the district.

The leaders made the remarks during an inspection of construction works at Muko General Hospital and Bufundi Health Centre IV, as well as during the commissioning of health facilities constructed by the Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF).

Among the projects commissioned were a new maternity ward at Kagarama Health Centre II in Shebeya Parish, Hamurwa Sub-county, and a four-stance VIP latrine at Ikumba Health Centre III. The facilities are expected to enhance maternal healthcare, sanitation and overall service delivery.
